Maria Mariano

Hello!  

 My name is Maria, and I am from Portugal. Currently, I am undertaking a master's degree in Conservation Biology at the University of Lisbon. I have a deep passion for marine fauna and its ecosystems, which drives my academic research in developing future aspirations in marine conservation.  

Outside of my studies, I am profoundly amazed by birds and elasmobranchii specimens. I am thoroughly engaged when playing video games and deeply attracted to Asian culture and exploring new cuisines. I also enjoy reading and travelling. I am an avid gardening and animal enthusiast and am truly fond of scuba diving, which allows me to be connected with the ocean and nature.
