Daniel Gouveia

Master student

Hi! My name is Daniel (but you can call me Dany), and I’m currently enrolled in the Marine Ecology Master’s program at the University of Lisbon.

In my master’s thesis, my goal is to analyze the consequences of climate change on the physiology and behaviour of cleaner fish, with a particular focus on species such as Centrolabrus exoletus, commonly found along the Portuguese coast. Thus, with this project, I hope to not only contribute to the overall scientific understanding of the effects of climate change on marine biodiversity but also provide valuable information for the development of conservation and management strategies for marine resources on the Portuguese coast.

I love to sing and write poetry, but most of my free time is spent relaxing with my two cats.
